- This class of Avarian ship is identified as "Preying Bird," a reference to Romulan and Klingon ships called "Bird of Prey" from Star Trek.
- Despite not all of them being used, this ship seems to be equipped with a many weapons attached to the wings and hull, although it is possible that they are simply antennas.
