Grol ships possess weapons, shields, and teleport systems comparable to those of Star Command vessels.
Encounters with Grol ships have revealed that they also possess a device capable of interfering with Star Command shipboard systems and furthermore, with time itself.
A grol ship is hijacked by the dreaded leader of a faction of rebel Midorians, Silas. After talking a length about the Grol controlling both the Humans and the Midorians, Silas hijackes it with forced help from the player, thenSilas thanks the player and leaves, leaving hints that their paths will likley meet again.
